Implement
This phase builds the environment, implementing the design specified in phase three. Following completion of the environment build - this phase delivers migration from the existing environment to the new platform. Migration typically starts with some small, low risk applications. As confidence build in the new platform and migration techniques – databases can be migrated at a faster rate and more critical application moved to the new platform. Old servers will be decommissioned as soon as possible.
