The Dedicated Engineer works on-site, with you in your office for several days each month. You'll have a real in-person relationship with someone who is accountable and responsible for your SQL Server environment - just like if you had a fulltime permenant DBA.

The Dedicated Engineer is responsible for finding and fixing problems with your environment - before they happen. The scope of work is defined and planned together the Dedicated Engineer brings a wealth of experience and ideas, typical activities include disaster recovery planning, structured training sessions and risk reviews.

Additionally the Dedicated Engineer provides a single point of contact while off-site, meaning there's always someone who knows your environment on-hand.
