- Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). - Build and manage data warehouses to support reporting and analytics initiatives.
- Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data extraction and transformation.
- Develop interactive and static BI reports and dashboards using SAP BusinessObjects and Crystal Reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data and reporting requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and report reliability.
- Monitor and optimize ETL workflows and report performance.
- Apply best practices for data management, documentation, and performance tuning.
Required Skills:
- Proven expertise in SQL Server, SSIS, and Data Warehousing concepts.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects and Crystal Reports for report development.
- Strong analytical skills to understand and work with complex datasets.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical data solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data lake architecture.
- Knowledge of other BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Mentoring or team leadership experience is an advantage.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Several years of hands-on experience in data engineering and/or BI development.
