Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in SQL Server, SSIS, and Data Warehousing. This role will involve developing and optimizing ETL pipelines, designing data models, and delivering scalable, high-performance data solutions that support analytics and business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Work with SQL Server to create and optimize queries and stored procedures.
- Build and manage data warehouses to support reporting and analytics.
- Develop scalable data pipelines to support business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Monitor and optimize database and pipeline performance.
- Implement data management and ETL best practices.
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in SQL Server and SSIS.
- In-depth understanding of Data Warehousing and data modeling concepts.
- Ability to design and optimize stored procedures, functions, and complex queries.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data lake architecture.
- Experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Mentoring or leadership experience is a bonus.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Several years of hands-on experience in SQL-based data engineering.
