The Details
The Challenge
ReadyTech, an Australian headquartered technology and SaaS provider who create market-focused, mission critical technology solutions that help communities, businesses, and governments, secured a significant contract in the UK. To meet their contractual obligations, they required UK-based support staff with Security Check (SC) clearance to manage the infrastructure platform. Beyond staffing, ReadyTech required robust monitoring, regular patching, and a clear system for incident management to ensure compliance with government standards.
Without an existing UK-based team or processes for SC clearance, ReadyTech faced the challenge of building a compliant and operational infrastructure within a tight timeframe.
The Solution
We began with an initial consulting project to design and build production and pre-production environments tailored to the client’s requirements. This design provided a strong foundation for stability, scalability, and security.
A Managed Services agreement was established, ensuring ongoing support, proactive monitoring, and incident resolution. System administration processes were implemented to maintain compliance, including regular patching schedules for SQL Server and Windows environments.
To meet security requirements, we introduced a new starter policy and process, ensuring all team members completed SC clearance before gaining access to systems.
Throughout the implementation, regular communication and alignment with ReadyTech’s internal team ensured transparency and collaboration.
